AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd will issue you with a returns number and also send out a returns bag to return the part where applicable. The customer may only return products to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd to receive a credit or refund on the following conditions:
Products can be returned to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd due to customer error or the product is no longer required within 30 days of receipt of the part but again prior consent must be obtained from AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd in writing (email or fax) before sending the product/s back. AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd will issue a returns number and also send out a returns bag to return the part where applicable.Where a customer returns products to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd not in accordance with points (i) to (ii) above (for example if the part is sent back without prior consent from AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd or if the part is not fit for re-sale) AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd may refuse delivery or may apply a re-stocking charge that relates to the actual cost of reprocessing (subject to a minimum charge of 30% of invoice value). The returns policy excludes Printed Circuit Boards, Non-Catalogue products and specially manufactured products. Printed Circuit BoardsPrinted Circuit Boards must be returned to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd in their original condition and packaging.Prior consent must be obtained from AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd in writing (email or fax) before returning a Printed Circuit Board. AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd will issue you with a returns number and also send out a returns bag to return the Printed Circuit Board where applicable. All Printed Circuit Boards are sent out in a sealed plastic envelope and once opened are subject to specific terms and conditions as follows: Once the sealed plastic envelope is opened AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd assumes the Printed Circuit Board has been fitted. Once AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd receive a returned Printed Circuit Board they will then send the Printed Circuit Board back to the manufacturer for testing, to ensure the Printed Circuit Board hasn’t been compromised in any way before issuing a credit (note this can take 6-8 weeks for the manufacturer to test the Printed Circuit Board and issue a credit). This process is the same for alleged faulty Printed Circuit Boards and Printed Circuit Boards which have been opened but are no longer required. If the manufacturer states that the Printed Circuit Board was compromised whilst being fitted or a faulty component on the boiler has caused damage to the Printed Circuit Board then a copy of the manufacturers correspondence will be forwarded to the customer and no credit will be made, the Printed Circuit Board will then be sent back to the customer for their safe keeping. If it is that the plastic envelope hasn’t been opened then the Printed Circuit Board will be treated under the same terms and conditions as any other part. If the customer wants a replacement Printed Circuit Board due to the initial Printed Circuit Board being alleged faulty. The customer will have to place a complete new order for a Printed Circuit Board with us. A refund for the cost of the initial Printed Circuit Board will be made once it’s proved that the Printed Circuit Board is faulty via the manufacturers testing procedures. If you decide to buy the part from another supplier we AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd will only supply a new part with no refund available unless the fault on the part occurred within the initial 7 days of purchase and you the customer informed AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd in writing (email or fax) of this within the initial 7 days. Non-Catalogue products and specially manufactured products. These products are non-returnable. Free Gifts (Where Applicable)Free gifts MUST BE sent back to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd in the event of the customer wanting to return their original order or part of their original order back to AK Gas Appliance Spares Ltd as per the 30 day money back guarantee. In the event of the free gift not being returned to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd with their unwanted order then the cost of the free gift will be charged. Parts Must be Returned Within 7 DaysCustomers must return all parts within 7 days once in receipt of the returns bag to : AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd, Unit 3&4 Airedale Business Centre, Kershaw Avenue, Airedale, Castleford, WF10 3ES Note all products fitted to any Gas Appliance within the United Kingdom should be fitted by a competent person who is a member of an organisation that monitors the safe working of Gas Installers e.g. the engineer should be on the Gas Safe Register. You maybe asked to provide us with the installer’s Gas Safe number (England & Wales) or the equivalent (Scotland, N Ireland & Republic Of Ireland), failure to do this may result in no credit being given. All products sent back to AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd are the property of the customer until AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd receives the product/s back. We strongly recommend product/s that are returned are covered by insurance in the case of loss or damage by your choice of courier and returned requiring a signature so proof of delivery can be confirmed. Please note AK Gas Appliance & Spares Ltd do not compensate for any consequential loss arising out of delays, damages or wrong parts sent to customers.
